I could hear guests in adjacent rooms quite clearly, which disturbed my peace at times. A bit of privacy would certainly enhance the stay. Despite that, the atmosphere was inviting, and Rex’s welcoming demeanor made my visit memorable.

The highlight for me was how thoughtful melissa was. she prepared a basket of snacks for my early morning bike ride. plus, there’s free access to the pool and hot tubs at the sister inn nearby!

This charming inn boasts a fantastic location, ideal for exploring nearby attractions. While the decor shows its age, the warm hospitality and delightful breakfast certainly made my stay memorable. That said, noise levels from the street could be disruptive, but overall, the experience was enjoyable for a weekend getaway.

Noise levels from the street!!! Housekeeping standards need consistency, with trash sometimes left unemptied. The furnishings also feel dated and should really be refreshed to match expectations.

The breakfasts were excellent! Especially the banana waffles with homemade caramel sauce that made even a banana-hater like me gobble them up. Plus, I loved having a relaxing tea time with homemade cookies after our walks.

It wasn't cheap, but certainly manageable for what you get.

I stayed in Parson's Study, and it was super comfy! The bed was really cozy and the room felt spacious. I loved the fireplace too. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Plus, there were great touches like the snacks available in the common area, which made it feel more like home. Can't wait to go back when it’s cooler to enjoy that fireplace again!
